German for Adults
If you've been meaning to brush up your German for work, prepare for travel, or finally get to a level where you feel confident holding a conversation, these sessions are for you.I offer a relaxed, one-to-one space built around patient listening and what you actually want to say. I know how excruciating it can feel to stumble over words or go blank mid-sentence—because I’ve been there, too when learning English.

My approach is simple: we talk about topics that are relevant to you, and if desired add a sprinkle of grammar support and plenty of room to find your flow.Sessions built around your goals: Whether that's professional confidence, travel, or family connection.Flexible Learning: Available as online evening sessions, or in-person at a café or workplace across North, West, and Central London.
Philosophy
Language learning is most effective when it's enjoyable — at any age. And when enjoyment isn't quite possible — because the GCSE is looming and the grammar simply has to be mastered — we can at least approach it together with a little humour and some memorably silly mnemonics.I put considerable thought into making every lesson as engaging as possible, whatever a child's age or learning style. I found English at school uninspiring and in my experience, the last thing a six-year-old wants after a long school day is a worksheet. But if they're identifying animals by pulling them from a bag and constructing a correct sentence to earn a point — they're genuinely engaged, and far more likely to look forward to the next session. For adults, progress often comes down to motivation, a subject that interests you, and a tutor who understands your experience. (I didn't truly embrace English until my twenties).
